The New York Times is the paper of record. It reaches 4.4 million subscribers daily in the print and online formats and the breaking news it generates is covered across platforms on multiple news sites globally every day. How will it continue to evolve? What do communicators need to know?

Rebecca Blumenstein is Deputy Managing Editor of the NY Times, a post she assumed in 2017. Prior to that she was Deputy Editor in Chief of The Wall Street Journal, the highest-ranking woman to lead the paper’s news organization to date. She’s received numerous awards including overseeing the China team for the Wall Street Journal that won a Pulitzer Prize for International Reporting in 2007.

Moderator, Douglas Simon is CEO of the award-winning firm D S Simon Media. It specializes in placing executives with brands and non-profits on television news programs during satellite media tours and live broadcasts of social media events.
