2018 PRSA-NY BIG APPLE AWARDS
The PRSA-NY Big Apple Awards are a prestigious annual program honoring outstanding communications campaigns and projects developed or implemented in and around New York City.
Our 2018 program recognizes the best work of 2017 submitted by in-house (association, corporate and government) communications teams, agencies of all sizes, and independent practitioners across the New York metro area.

A highlight of this year’s Big Apple program is a new series of awards designed to reward in-house communications teams for the great work they do as well as how they collaborate with senior agency leaders. Because the Big Apple Awards Mean Business one of our goals is to bring agencies and in-house teams closer together. These awards will accomplish this and to encourage a large group of nominees, we are making it free to enter.

The PRSA-NY Chapter believes we have the best public relations practitioners in the world. One reason for that is we also offer the best in media, trade press and industry bloggers. While the media is under siege from multiple directions, we feel it is time to recognize the great work that they do and honor them for the first time as part of the Big Apple Awards. Entry is free.

The New President’s Diversity Data Honor Roll Award
The honor roll will recognize the PR and Communications agencies that release comprehensive, transparent and inclusive data. Entry is free.

Individual Chapter Awards
Two of the awards that are presented that evening – the Philip Dorf Award for mentorship and the John W. Hill Award for professional achievement – are open for nomination by members of PRSA-NY; a third award is named by the Chapter’s president.

IMPORTANT UPDATE REGARDING BUDGET INFO
- Budget information is no longer required in the two-page summary reports that are submitted during the entry process. Confidential information should be excluded from those two-page reports.
- Though budget information IS required in the online form, it will automatically be considered “CONFIDENTIAL” for review only by the Big Apple judges.
Entrants may also provide supplemental information – text, charts, graphics, presentations, research, or other assets – that may give your entry a competitive edge.
