Habitat for Humanity has built 60+ affordable homes in NYC over the past seven years. We invite you to join 20+ PRSA-NY volunteers as we help build 15 more affordable condos for families – no experience necessary! Registration is open to current PRSA-NY chapter members, non-members and guests.

A $15 donation is requested at the time of registration. After completing your donation, please follow any additional onscreen instructions until you are successfully registered for the October 1 PRSA-NY and Habitat for Humanity Event.

Volunteers will start at 9:00 a.m. with sign-in and finish at 4:30 p.m. A knowledgeable Site Supervisor and AmeriCorps Site Leaders will shepherd us in the building. All tools, hats, gloves, work belts, and other necessities are provided. However, you will have to bring sturdy shoes - no sneakers or sandals. PRSA-NY team t-shirts will also be provided upon arrival.

Transportation to the Build Site:
Volunteers should take the subway to the Broadway Junction Station in Brooklyn (A/C, J/Z and L). It's a short walk to the work site from the station.
9:00 a.m. Arrival at build site and registration
9:30-4 p.m. Hands-on volunteering
4:30 p.m. Transportation back to Manhattan

Photograph and Video Policy:
PRSA-NY often photographs or records footage of its events and by attending the event you may be photographed or filmed. PRSA-NY may use any such footage to promote PRSA-NY in any manner and in any media for any purpose whatsoever throughout the world.
Reservations and cancellations will be accepted until 12 noon the business day prior to the event and must be submitted in writing to email@example.com. If you do not cancel by the deadline you remain responsible for the registration fee. On-site registration will be available (space permitting) for an additional fee of $5.00
